Join Triple Mountain at Skyline Farm on 5/12!

We're taking this show on the road, folks! Our brand new mobile model mini-store (say that five times fast!) is going to debut at one of our favorite venues: Skyline Farm in Yarmouth, Maine. Skyline's annual Spring Plow Day is this Saturday, May 12th, 2018 from noon to 3pm. Watch draft teams plow part of a field while a Skyline rep explains how it's done; meet Keaton the Clydesdale (from the Budweiser Farm), take a wagon ride pulled by Minis Silver and Buddy, check out their awesome carriage museum, see our Breyer-scale wagon exhibit... and shop for Breyer models in...
It's Earth Day 2018 (and we sell plastic models. How does that work?)

It sounds hypocritical to talk about Earth Day when our business centers around selling plastic models... Even more so since this year's Earth Day theme is "End Plastic Pollution." However, most of the models we sell will remain "in use" (in other words, in collections) for decades...
NaMoPaiMo Project - The Debut of the Uniquine™!

NaMoPaiMo (National Model Painting Month) gave me the opportunity - and the nudge - I needed to work on a customizing medium that I've been playing with for a couple of years behind the scenes. And so, here he is, in honor of our upcoming 15th wedding anniversary: Since today is the deadline to post photos on the NaMoPaiMo page, and he's just finished drying, I didn't take time to set up a nice photo shoot for him, but hopefully you'll enjoy the horse and this new technique, which we'll be making available for special customs soon on our website....
Models Teaching About Life with Horses at Skyline Farm Museum

Triple Mountain was honored to be asked to create an exhibit for Skyline Farm's Carriage Museum. To bring a new dimension to the non-profit agricultural center's lovely Carriage House with its amazing collection of horse-drawn vehicles, we brought in model-scale wagons, sleighs and equipment, many of them pulled by Breyer models in harness. What a fun day we had for its debut! Skyline's 19th annual Sleigh Day featured several teams and individual horses pulling sleighs and offering sleigh rides outside. Below, check out the littlest equine team at the rally: Silver and Buddy! They gave sleigh rides to kids around...
