In the Kentucky Derby, Secretariat set a speed record of 1:59 2\/5, and he captured the Preakness Stake with ease, securing the Triple Crown win for 1973. Secretariat was the son of Bold Ruler out of Somethingroyal. Known as \"Big Red\", the large, beautifully conformed chestnut ran in the blue and white checkered colors of Meadow Stables. Glossy - Only 50 Made!","description":"\u003cp\u003eCaramac was a special release from Copperfox in sooty buckskin.  Only 50 were made in matte finish and only 50 in glossy, back in 2016.  Most have disappeared permanently into collections, so it's extremely rare to have an opportunity to get one these days.  The mold has not been produced in Traditional scale since the company's sale in 2019, and it's possible that no others will ever be produced.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis girl is the glossy version.  She's hard to rate.... In her current state, I'd rate her as Excellent condition.  However, the paint flaws that have developed on her and others from this release may progress in the future. She currently has some small areas of paint crazing - Under her jaw, below her neck, and inside one hind leg. She also has three tiny chips of paint that have come off over time. I found two and have placed them in a plastic bag in case you'd like to try to reattach them.  It's possible that other chips may develop by the time she gets to you, but she'll be carefully wrapped and stored to try to prevent that. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBeyond these known flaws with this release, she's beautiful, and she'll display beautifully for you. She features speckly, sooty shading, a neatly airbrushed dorsal stripe, eartip shading, and detailed hooves. She even comes with her original COA, inclusions, and her original box with foam insert. The foam is starting to shed with age, so she'll be wrapped in a plastic bag before we re-box her, for added protection.
