Proud Arabian Stallion, Semi-Gloss Dapple Grey
The handsome Proud Arabian Stallion mold was released in dapple grey from 1972-1988. There are a lot of variations to this run, making it very popular with collectors. While most of the later ones have a matte finish, some of the earlier guys were done in glossy, which brings out their coloring beautifully.
This fellow is in Excellent condition with a small rub on the crest of his tail and tiny ear edge and hoof edge rubs. He shows moderate yellowing, which he'd love for you to fix by letting him sunbathe for a week or so. He has the shorter left front leg that was known with this mold back in the day, but he stands fine. He is a lovely vintage guy with lighter and darker areas in his coat, including dark shading on his back and chest, charcoal grey mane, tail, knees and hocks, and deep inner ear and muzzle pinking. He features dapples even onto his jaws and a beautifully shaded face, with a semigloss body coat and matte mane and tail. USA mold mark.
