Three Gaiter (Sale supports Harvest Hills Animal Shelter)
The Hartland 9-inch Series Three Gaited Saddlebred was made in this walnut woodcut version only from 1965-1968. A second round were made later under the ownership of Durant, but those did not include the dark shading found on these originals.
This fellow is hard to rate because every one has different shading patterns, making it impossible to tell if there are rubs much of the time. My instinct on this guy, who has lots of lovely dark shading, is that he's Excellent to Near Mint, with probably a rub on his left hindquarter, but again, it's hard to say for sure. He could be Factory Mint! Anyway, he displays beautifully and has the most shading we've seen on any of the Hartland Woodgrains to-date. He wears a Y inside one hind leg. He comes with a bonus handmade blue and white blanket with double cinch straps. It was made exactly for him, with a little notch in the back so it wouldn't rub on his tail. It's soft felt, so we'll leave it on him for extra protection as he travels to you. This is a gorgeous fellow!
This model was donated to our charity account for Harvest Hills Animal Shelter, and proceeds from its sale will help the shelter care for dogs and kitties in need. Thanks for your support!
