One of the earliest in Breyer's stable, the black pinto Western Pony was only made from 1956-1976.  He came with a black snap-cinch saddle until 1967, and then was swapped to a grey slip-on one.  Three variations have been found, having to do with the white spot on his right shoulder.  Some have it positioned high, some have it low (touching his forearm), and at least a few have no spot there at all.

This fellow is the missing spot variation.  He is Near Mint with just ear edge rubs and tiny hoof edge rubs.  He has some black body paint on his right front hoof and some dull areas in his finish under his saddle.  He displays really well, with bright whites and nearly intact paint on his molded-on tack.  He comes with his original reins, which still have some shine, and his original slip-on saddle with grey shading.  His saddle dates him to 1968-1976.
