It's that time of year... Sparkling lights, tinkling bells, and all of us collectors anxiously checking online every ten minutes to see if Breyer has announced new releases yet!
This year, Breyer has set January First as the official release date for new releases.
This is big news! It's the first time in my memory that they set a date ahead of time, so we could prepare.
I know, some images will get leaked before then. However, Breyer is strict with retailers - Any business that posts photos, information, or begins taking orders for new releases before the official release date could lose their dealership.
Therefore, we will not answer any questions about new releases until they go online on January 1st.
We know everyone is excited, but keep in mind that the new releases will be available for a whole year, and there is no scarcity (other than if there's a Flagship model).
Just as you're no longer excited about Morganquest Native Sun or Marc of Charm, this year's models will be around long after the excitement ebbs.
I hope that will reduce the anxiety some collectors create for themselves around this time of year. :-)
On the same note, though.... Get ready for January First! It's going to be an exciting year!
