Model Horse Customizing Workshops and Fun Day
Where: Baldwin Community Center: 534 Pequawket Trail, West Baldwin
When: August 24th
What: This is a day of model horse related workshops. There will be Stablemate painting as well as two customizing workshops! Each workshop will provide you with all the supplies and skills you need to create custom models of your own! No need to bring anything, unless you have a specific model you would like to customize. Lunch is not provided - You may bring lunch or run over to Cornish (5 miles) to Dunkin', Subway, etc.
Stablemate Painting
Triple Mountain is sponsoring the event and will be hosting Stablemate Painting from 10am - 1pm or while supplies last. Limited to one model per person.
SM Painting is open to the public and free for everyone age 16 and under.
17 & up are welcome to paint a horse, too, for a $2 fee to cover the cost of the model.
Workshops:
Sculpting Manes and Tails (9am-11am) Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
Learn how to transform your Freedom Series models in this fun session taught by artist Kayla Lovejoy. Models will be provided to all students in this class along with all supplies needed to create a new mane and tail. Cost: $30 per person
Pastelling a Dapple Grey (12pm-2pm) Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
Join Kayla Lovejoy as she teaches students how to paint an incredible dappled grey horse using pan pastels and acrylics. Cost: $30 per person
