This is a beautiful Breyer porcelain treasure box ornament. It features a darling buckskin horse wearing a big red bow, standing among the presents while talking with Santa, on a green and metallic gold base. The base is hinged with gold-tone metal trim and opens to reveal a hiding place perfect for jewelry or a note. It was only available in 2011 and is the 4th in the series.
This one is Factory Mint and comes in her original box with plastic bag and Styrofoam insert to keep her safe while travelling. The hinge is really tight on this one. It opens, but it's not easy - I carefully inserted a letter opener to open it. It won't drop your treasures out unexpectedly, though, that's for sure!
