2023's annual Limited Edition snow globe is a beautiful Pegasus who reminds us of the Emily Dickinson line: "Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune--without the words, And never stops at all." This rearing Pegasus speaks of hope and peace, surrounded by white doves bringing festive red ribbons. The base features more doves amid golden flourishes and traditional garlands of ribbon and beadwork. It is made of resin and glass. Wind up the key underneath and it plays "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear." (Clarification: Originally called "Peace on Earth" in Breyer's marketing, his packaging calls him "Holiday Flight.") It is the 21st in the series.
This one is still in its original box with Styrofoam insert. It appears to have never been opened until we took it out of the box to make sure it rode to us safely. We left it factory bagged so you can be the first to open it! (Photo showing open globe is a Breyer promotional image so you can better see what it will look like.)
