This is a lovely RC Ertl collector's piece, made of metal and plastic, and features a miniature copy of the Family Arabian Stallion pulling a cream-colored delivery wagon labeled "The Golden Rule, Kemmerer, Wyoming, J.C, Penney, Proprietor." The wagon is a bank, with a coin slot in the roof and "keyhole" in the underside. We couldn't find a reference to verify, but based on its production #, it appears to be 1985.
This set is in Near Mint condition. It includes a bay metal horse that appears to be a mini knockoff of the Breyer Family Arabian Stallion, plastic shafts, and a wagon that's mostly metal with plastic details. The wagon features gold lanterns on each side and has a working lock for emptying the coin compartment. It does not include a key, but it's a simple turn lock that's designed so it can be opened using a butter knife.
[Final photo showing Stablemate near set is for size reference only. Chestnut Belgian not included.]
Size: Approx 1:25 scale. I estimate it's around 7" Long
