This striking blue roan on Chris Hess's iconic Five Gaiter was a Special Run only available to "Just About Horses" subscribers in 1994. They wear speckled roan bodies, dark shaded heads and legs, hind socks and a snip, along with silver-on-blue mane ribbons. Only 2000 were made, and each is identified by "JAH '94" handwritten under their belly.
This fellow is Near Mint with only pinpoint eartip rubs that would be easy to touch up. He has the warm blue roan coloring that some have called "green roan" with tons of grey roan speckles, a well-blended dark face, and bright whites in his socks and snip. He even comes with his original COA and photocopy of filled out application to purchase him, from his original owner. He may have a slight smell from prior storage when first unwrapped. It was barely noticeable when we received him, but wanted to mention it, as he'll be bubble wrapped here until adopted, so it may collect in there and need a day or two to dissipate once you unwrap him.
