This beautiful Arabian sculpture by Kathleen Moody saw her debut as a Special Run Factory Resin only sold through JC Penney's holiday catalog in 2002. To this day, she has never been made in Traditional plastic, although she has had a few Stablemate-size plastic releases. This is your only chance to own her in full size! This release is a Pintabian: She wears a bay tobiano pinto coat with four socks and a blaze. She came with a hardwood base with brass name plaque and a hand-numbered COA. Only 1500 were made.
This lovely lady is Near Mint with a couple of pinpoint rubs on the back of her left rump, a tiny light rub (only in the shading) on her left rump, a group of pinpoint ones on one cheek, and the usual pinpoint spots that missed getting painted or got extra paint. Her painted whites are bright, but she was dusty when she arrived, so a bath would do her good. She features blended shading on her legs and comes with her original solid wood base (has a couple of scratches from her feet) with its brass nameplate still covered by its clear plastic shield. She even comes with her original COA, which we found later!
Being a resin, she is heavy, and her shipping price will reflect her weight. Resins are more fragile than plastics, and are recommended for display by collectors, not for play.
