Breyer had stopped making their Halloween models a couple years earlier, so everyone was thrilled when this guy suddenly appeared! "Bats" is done in sunset colors, with a flight of bats emerging from his darker areas. He was only available to Breyer Premier Dealers (their term at the time, similar to Flagship stores today) and only 2500 were made, making him the hardest Halloween Horse to find. Interest in him rekindled the Halloween Horse series, which is now one of Breyer's most popular series of all time!
This fellow is still attached in his original box, which is in Near Mint condition. He features lots of silvery blue at the top of his tail, which gives it the appearance of motion.
