This rich flaxen chestnut blanket Appaloosa is Scorpion, a glossy release on Stud Spider from the Vintage Club in early 2024. Hearkening back to the original portrait model of the racing Appaloosa, Scorpion cleverly sports a modernized version of Spider's pattern. The original was stenciled and often had overspray; this fellow's is masked, and is much neater, but if you look closely, the pattern matches! Only 1,000 were made.
This fellow is Factory Mint with a few specks in his finish as always. He features very subtle dapples on his forequarters, a neatly edged mane, hand-painted eye whites, and lovely glossy finish. He comes with his VC COA flyer and original cull-color cardboard shipping box. He is #177/1,000.
