Laddie II is a black splash sabino pinto who may or may not have been a real horse sired by Grayingham Lucky Lad ("Laddie"). I have hunted for info about the possibility of Laddie II being a portrait of a real horse, since his detailing suggests he is, but can find no proof online. What we know is that the original Laddie was named Canadian Grand Champion Shire Stallion six times! His work as a sire is no less impressive, and he earned the title Champion Get of Sire from both the American Shire Horse Association and the Canadian Shire Horse Association in 1993. The gentle giant stood 18 hands tall and weighed 2100 pounds. He passed away the year before the Laddie II release came out.
Laddie II was only produced from 1996-1997.
This fellow is Near Mint with no rubs that go through to white. He has three light rubs (only through the finish): One around an inch long on his right hindquarter, a tiny one on his right barrel, and a tiny one on his left hindquarter. They only show when the light hits just right. He features bright whites, neatly painted bi-colored eyes, and neatly painted ribbons and bobs.
