This is the original release on Chris Hess's Hog mold. Called Jasper, this grey and white hog won the hearts of collectors and had a pretty long run, from 1974-2000. Jasper was a portrait of a real hog bred by the Rodibaugh family. He won Grand Champion Market Hog title at the 1969 Chicago International Livestock Exposition. He was then sold and donated to the Purdue University. There, Jasper became the ideal model to show how a pig's muscle, fat and bone structure affect conformation and shape. Jasper was also featured in a movie called Profitable Pork Selection.
He is in Excellent condition with some light, scuffy rubs on his back. On regular display, they'll look like highlights. He also has slight age yellowing, which you can reverse with a few days of sunbathing. He features pinking around his eyes, as well as on his hooves, snout and inner ears.
Size: Traditional
