The Lonesome Glory mold, created by acclaimed sculptor Kitty Cantrell, was first released in 2000 as the Regular Run portrait of steeplechaser Lonesome Glory. At Breyerfest that year, the mold was given this wild Appaloosa pattern as a Special Run. Only 750 were made. This was a split run with some made with, and some without, a dorsal stripe. That makes each version scarcer than the 750 total, and though we don't have production numbers, it seems the version with NO dorsal stripe is the harder one to find (and looks better, in my opinion).
This fellow is Near mint with a hard-to-see tiny scuffy rub on his right shoulder near his chest, right at the edge of his blanket, and slight age yellowing. He features a handsome face with lots of shading and neatly hand-painted tri-color eyes.
