Durango was the Limited Edition for the year 2000, with only 10,000 made and hand-numbered under their bellies. he was created to look like a bronze horse sculpture with a patina. This neat look reminds us of the many bronze Western sculpts we see in collections and in the backgrounds of tv shows.
This fellow is still attached in his original box with his hangtag. I can see a tiny shiny spot on his back, but his color is brighter than most, and he's a good-looking boy. He is #8011 / 10,000. The glue on his box top has dried up and separated from the cardboard, but it would be easy to re-glue if you decide to. One plastic end flap has partially torn off at the crease, but the box still closes and displays as Excellent condition.
