Adios wore this dapple grey coat only as a Special Run for Black Horse Ranch in 1987. He has four airbrushed socks and a slightly darker mane and tail. Only 1,000 were made. Please note, these were made during the Shrinky Era, so it's likely most or all of them are made of shrink-prone plastic. This has made finding them today even more challenging, and they sure are worth finding!
This fellow is in Excellent to Near Mint condition with nearly no post-production damage! He has a couple of short hairline grey marks which disappear when crossing dapples, so I think they were body paint that got on him before the resist material was removed. They're visible only on close inspection. Another grey mark of the same type flanks a dapple on his left barrel. He also has rubs/smudges of his eye paint on both sides (with a dot of eye paint behind one eye, as if he were handled before he'd dried) which could easily be touched up, and slight age yellowing. Unlike most of this run, he doesn't appear to have shrunk... He's the same height as models made earlier and later than his run, and he was bubble wrapped for months before arriving here for inspection, so that's a good test. We don't know what the future holds, but it's a good sign when they've gone this long without shrinking. Add to that his big, bold dapples and muzzle pinking, and you've really got something here.
