Andalusian Family, Spanish Norman Family - Collectors Edition
The Classic Andalusian Stallion, Ginger, and the Classic Andalusian Foal were partnered in this special Collectors Edition release, available only through Toys R Us in 1994. They represent Spanish-Normans, a cross between Andalusians and Percherons that were considered both beautiful and hardy, and were prized by knights. Breyer chose great colors for these models, with the Stallion done in red roan, the mare in white, and the foal as a grey with black points. Only 6300 were made.
The stallion is Near Mint with one tiny grey spot on top of his rump and and pinpoint black speck on her right shoulder. He also has a scattering of tiny hoof edge rubs. He's got a beautiful roan coat, with pretty shading.
The mare is in Excellent condition with a tiny chip off the top of her left ear (only noticeable on very close inspection), a few tiny black marks and specks, which you can clean off with a Magic Eraser if you decide to, a tiny rub in her left eye, and a few tiny hoof edge rubs. Her whites are bright and she displays beautifully.
Their foal is Factory Mint with a bit of a sparkly sheen, which adds motion to this cutie! He features pretty face shading and semi-gloss black points.
The set even comes with their foil sticker from their original box.
