Bank Robber on Black Horse
Made by Britains Ltd as part of their Deetail line, this horse and rider set was very likely made in the early 1970s. They are made of plastic, but are attached to a metal base engraved with the maker's mark underneath. The black horse sports one front sock and wears a Western saddle and bridle. His rider has just robbed the City Bank (that's molded onto the satchel he's clutching), and certainly isn't hiding from the law in that bright yellow outfit! He wears a blue shirt, red bandana over his face, black hat (of course), and brandishes his revolver as they gallop away.
This fellow is Near Mint with a dot of yellow shirt paint on top of the rider's hat. The saddle and rider sit just a bit above the horse's back, but are still attached. Almost no paint loss. The sculpt is very detailed, down to the chaps strap, pistol and even saddlebags. He's s neat vintage piece.
Size: Approx 3.5" tall to the top of rider's hat
