Black Beauty, One-Sock Version
One of the world's most famous fictional horses, Black Beauty has captured the hearts and minds of animal lovers everywhere. This version by Breyer has one right front sock and a diamond-shaped star. He was made from 1982-1988. While there are lots of this model around, it can be hard to find one in good condition because they were commonly played with.
This fellow is in Excellent condition with a tiny rub on his sheath, a factory divot I his right ind cannon, a bit of extra plastic on his front right pastern, and a bent eartip, all vintage factory production. He shows no other rubs, but has a pinpoint speck of bright green on his right barrel and a smudge of dark green on his right rump. He is a one-sock variation. Like all on this mold, he requires a prop to stand. We recommend Museum Putty for additional safety.
