Book "Casey, The Utterly Impossible Horse" and Horse PJs
Casey, The Utterly Impossible Horse is a delightful story by Anita MacRae Feagles. This is a first edition of the paperback, copyright 1960. Casey is a rather special and darling horse... One of his funny quirks is that he wears pin and white striped pajamas!
The book was used as a prop in Costume Classes in the 1980s, along with this adorable set of homemade horse pajamas to match those in the book! The pj's were made specifically to fit an Appy Performance Horse, but should fit most standing Traditional Breyers. The book has some minor wear (heck, it's half a century old) and has a former owner's name and acquisition date written inside the front cover. This is a cheerful set, whether you want it for fun or to take it to shows again!
