Here's a beautiful old decorator! The Family Arabians were made in Woodgrain from 1959 to 1966. Each one is unique since their "grain" was hand-painted by the artists at Breyer's Chicago factory. Most are a medium brown color, but a few were made either extra light or extra dark.
This fellow is Near Mint with just eartip rubs and a 3/4" hairline scratch (only through the graining layer, not to white plastic) on his left hindquarter. There's a tiny drip of clearcoat at the tip of his tail and the usual one under his belly, along with some slight pooling where his hooves touch the ground. His painters seem to have taken extra time with him, as lower legs are usually messy, but his are well done. He is so pretty - His graining seems to have graining! What a lovely fellow!
