Famous partner of Native American trainer GaWaNi Pony Boy, Mihunka is a bay pinto with a stripe and a white lower lip.  Pony Boy impressed people around the world with his gentle, herd-based horse psychology that enabled him to work with all types of horses.  Often dressing in Native clothing and riding bareback, his clinics attracted people as much to see him as to learn from him.

Breyer honored Mihunka with a portrait model on the Fighting Stallion mold in 1999.  It ran for just two years and included a special box background with info about this superstar team.

This fellow is Near Mint with a factory flaw:  His right eartip apparently lost a chip during production and was factory painted over, making it not noticeable except on close inspection.  He has a pinpoint rub on his left hind hoof and a tiny rub on his left forefoot.  He has a couple of specks in his finish as always, but displays beautifully, and has some of the prettiest shading I've seen on this release.  He sports a very matte finish and that crooked snip that gives him a sweet, roguish appearance.

Shipping Information

We maintain an Honest Shipping Policy:  We always try to save you money on shipping and only charge what is needed to get your box to you.  We often cut boxes down to fit your order, which can save you money... If we find we can ship for less than our website charges you for shipping, we will automatically refund the difference when we print your shipping label.  You will never overpay when ordering from us!

Due to COVID, we are currently packing and shipping USPS on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  UPS requires a day's lead time to pick up, so UPS orders ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (They don't pick up on Saturday, so UPS orders placed after cutoff on Wednesday will ship the following Monday.)
