Five Gaiter ~ Commander, Sorrel
Chris Hess's iconic Five Gaiter mold was made in this bold sorrel from 1963 to 1986. He features a honey-colored body and a mane and tail so dark, he's nearly a bay. He wears an airbrushed bald face, four socks, and white ribbons with red Xs on them.
This fellow is Factory Mint with the best painted mane edge I've seen. He's very clean and sharp looking. He features well painted ribbons, nostril shading, subtle muzzle pinking. May have very slight yellowing, but if so, a few days in a sunny place will bring him back to bright whites. His mane and tail appear black rather than the usual chocolate brown. USA mold mark.
