Five Gaiter ~ Commander, Sorrel w/ Original Box
Chris Hess's iconic Five Gaiter mold was made in this bold sorrel from 1963 to 1986. He features a honey-colored body and a mane and tail so dark, he's nearly a bay. He wears an airbrushed bald face, four socks, and white ribbons with red Xs on them.
This fellow is in Excellent condition with a group of tiny rubs on his right hindquarter and a few pinpoint rubs elsewhere. He is very matte and has well-painted ribbons, including the full ribbon tip, also carefully painted by his artist. He could use a few days of sunbathing to brighten his socks and blaze. He even comes with his original cardboard box.

We maintain an Honest Shipping Policy: We always try to save you money on shipping and only charge what is needed to get your box to you. We often cut boxes down to fit your order, which can save you money... If we find we can ship for less than our website charges you for shipping, we will automatically refund the difference when we print your shipping label. You will never overpay when ordering from us!
Due to COVID, we are currently packing and shipping USPS on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. UPS requires a day's lead time to pick up, so UPS orders ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (They don't pick up on Saturday, so UPS orders placed after cutoff on Wednesday will ship the following Monday.)
