He may look like a rather plain chestnut, but Will Shriver is to Saddlebreds what Secretariat is to Thoroughbreds.  He didn't have a lot of stretch, so his owners gave up the dream of having a Halter Champion in him, but when put to a cart, he was lightning in a bottle!  During his career, Will beat every single horse that ever competed against him at least once!  Will went on to surpass even his grandsire Wing Commander to become the greatest sire in the breed, and is now present in the pedigrees of a majority of American Saddlebreds.

[Will Shriver with Redd Crabtree aboard]

Breyer produced a portrait model of him that was only available at the centennial event of the American Royal Livestock, Horse Show and Rodeo in 1999.  Only 1500 were made.

This fellow is Near Mint with a couple of pinpoint rubs on his right barrel and hip, a tiny nostril rub and hoof edge rub, and pinpoint eartip rubs.  He features neatly painted ribbons and bright whites.  This guy is a little tippy because his left front leg is very slightly tipped inward.  You can correct that with a warm hair dryer, but we recommend Museum Putty or a Horse Safety Rack to keep him safely upright.

We maintain an Honest Shipping Policy:  We always try to save you money on shipping and only charge what is needed to get your box to you.  We often cut boxes down to fit your order, which can save you money... If we find we can ship for less than our website charges you for shipping, we will automatically refund the difference when we print your shipping label.  You will never overpay when ordering from us!

Due to COVID, we are currently packing and shipping USPS on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  UPS requires a day's lead time to pick up, so UPS orders ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (They don't pick up on Saturday, so UPS orders placed after cutoff on Wednesday will ship the following Monday.)
