Goffert ~ Kuchi (Erroneous Gelding Version)
Kuchi is the very first Gypsy Vanner born in the U.S.! Daughter of the famous Gypsy King (who has his own Breyer portrait model) and the lovely mare Bat, Kuchi was born in 1999, and carries the gorgeous black pinto coat of both her parents. She was named for a tribe of Gypsies known for their appreciation of color and who are credited with creating the dance known as the Hoochie Kuchi. Kuchi became two-time National Champion Gypsy Vanner Mare and is passing on her beauty and gentle temperament to a new generation.
Breyer honored the lovely Kuchi with a portrait model for a single year in 2009. Using the Goffert mold, Breyer initially forgot to change its gender, resulting in the first (approximately) 2000 models to be made as geldings! When the error was pointed out, they made the rest as mares.
This fellow is the gelding version! He is Factory Mint with bright whites and crisp masking, with just a hint of muzzle pinking where his blaze covers his muzzle on the right side. He comes with his original base which is in nearly perfect condition.
