This adorable piece showcases the bond between girls and their horses, as they share a hug during a special moment. This piece was made of painted and glazed ceramic, in the USA by Hagen Renaker. This is an early version, with a brunette girl. Later ones had a blonde child.
This model was sculpted by Robert McGuinness and partially painted by Susan Nikas, the CEO of Hagen Renaker herself! Hagen Renaker ceramics closed in 2021.
This sweet pair is Factory Mint with a lovely paint job and a sweet expression, all under a glossy finish, with the Hagen Renaker brand sticker on the pony's rump. They even come with their original box.
