Missouri Fox Trotter ~ Iron Metal Chief, 1997 Limited Edition

This is the inaugural release for this mold, created as a portrait model of Iron Metal Chief, a champion Missouri Fox Trotter.  The black stallion with two hind socks was a handsome example of his breed. 

The model was a single-year, Limited Edition release in 1997, wearing his hind socks, star, and blue-and-yellow ribbons.  Those made in the first three months of the year were given bi-colored eyes.

This fellow is still attached in his original box.  His bio card keeps falling off the back panel of his box, so we're bagging it and tucking it behind the box insert for his safety in travel.  He is the bi-eyed version, making him one of the earliest produced.
