Maureen Love's Mustangs are gorgeous as Appaloosas in this set, made only from 1995-1997.  The stallion is an incredible pale varnish roan Appy - a color we'd love to see Breyer use again!  The mare is a black blanket Appy, and their foal appears ready to take after his dad... He's starting life as a chestnut with a large blanket, and will probably roan out as he grows.  Models made only during the first three months of 1997 sport bi-colored eyes.

This Stallion is Near Mint and marked down only for one pinpoint rub on his tail!  He is the lightest we've ever seen on this release, with only the faintest chestnut shading on his body and pale grey mane, tail, and legs.  His whites are bright and his shading blends beautifully.

The Mare is Factory Mint with bright whites and muzzle pinking.

Their foal is Near Mint with only a tiny rub on the back of his left gaskin and some tiny black marks on his right fetlock and pastern that should clean off with a good bath or Magic Eraser.  He features bright whites, soft body shading that adds to the "baby fuzz" look, and sooty face shading.

The whole family sports bi-eyes, an uncommon feature for this release, dating them to production between January and March of 1997, their final year of release.  By the last year, most collectors have already bought the models, so fewer are made - That's why you hardly ever see these with bi-eyes!
