This gentle fellow is one of Chris Hess's most iconic sculpts. The Old Timer rests with one foot cocked after his day's work is done, waiting to be unharnessed. The dapple grey color on this mold was produced from 1966-1987, but saw changes over the years, including harness color, size of dapples, and finishes. Early models were glossy, while later ones were made in semi-gloss or matte finishes.
This fellow is Near Mint with only one tiny eartip rub (maybe), a couple of tiny hoof edge rubs, two pinpoint rubs on top of his collar, and a rogue dapple on his right hind hoof that looks like a rub but isn't. He has only slight yellowing, and ought to brighten up easily with a few days of sunbathing. He features big, gorgeous dapples, muzzle and inner ear pinking, and has the triangle strap above his blinders painted. He also features the MOST gloss I've ever seen, with a mirror-like finish! He's absolutely stunning. He even comes with his original hat. USA mark.
