Phar Lap ~ Wild American Horse, Grulla
Breyer has been known to play pretty loosely with the term grulla, but this fellow does represent the color rather well. He wears not only a shaded grey coat, but the dorsal stripe and leg barring that denotes the color. He was only made in 1993 and 1994.
He's in Near Mint with a tiny muzzle rub and missing paint inside his left nostril. Slight yellowing can be corrected by setting him in a sunny place for a few days. He features a glittery grey coat with gorgeous shading, an airbrushed dorsal strip and barring on his front legs. I included some closeups to better show how pretty his markings and shading are. He stands pretty well, but this mold is known to often be tippy, so we recommend Museum Putty as cheap insurance.
