Pluto the Lipizzaner
Lipizzaners were traditionally given two names: Their first name represents their sire line and their second name represents their dam. There were six founding sire lines, so every Lipizzaner has one of six first names. One of those is Pluto, and this is Breyer's tribute to that founding sire of this magnificent breed. Sculpted by Jeanne Mellin Herrick, this initial release on the mold ran from 1991-1995. For greater realism, Breyer opted to paint his white coat rather than leave it raw plastic, giving him a chalky appearance which is really handsome on this release.
This fellow is Near Mint with a tiny off-white mark or rub on his right stifle and a few pinpoint dark grey specks. He features soft body shading with darker leg joints and face shading.

If we find we can ship for less than our website charges you for shipping, we will automatically refund the difference when we print your shipping label. You will never overpay when ordering from us!
We ship USPS Monday - Friday, weather permitting. UPS requires a day's lead time to pick up, so UPS orders generally ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (They don't pick up on Saturday, so UPS orders placed after cutoff on Wednesday will ship the following Monday.)
