Proud Arabian Mare ~ Shalimar - Connoisseur Model - Only 350 Made

Shalimar is a Connoisseur Club model, only available to members in March/April of 2002.  Connoisseur models were each handpainted with particular attention to details, making them some of the finest Breyer creations ever.  This release on the Proud Arabian is done in bay Rabicano with speckly rib markings and roaning, mapped stripe, and four socks with ermine spots.  Only 350 were made, so owning one is definitely a point of pride!  They can sell for over  $800 in Mint condition.

This lady is in Excellent condition, marked down for some light yellow staining on her front socks and a finish issue on her back that has created the appearance of faint dapples.  They can't be felt.  No rubs were seen but there's a light hairline drag mark in the finish on her back.  She's beautiful for display, with no rubs seen, and with better rabicano markings and better blended roaning than we've seen on others, and a stunningly beautifully shaded face.
