The very first release on the iconic QH Gelding mold, this stunning glossy bay called Two Bits is also one of the hardest to find.  Colors ranged from caramel to chocolate with a glass-like finish, four airbrushed socks and a star and stripe/snip.  he wears a molded-on black halter and was only available in this color from 1960-1966.

I should rate him Very Good, but he's such a pretty example of this release, that he gets bonus points, knocking him up to Excellent condition.  He has a scuff on his right hock, and gatherings of tiny rubs on most high points (shoulder, barrel, hips, etc, along with a bunch of dull marks in his gloss coat.  Oddly, he's got some black paint(?) in the seam under his belly and more on his muzzle, which I can't tell if it was applied intentionally as muzzle shading or he dipped his nose into something.  Okay, laundry list over - Here's why I still think this guy will be a worthwhile purchase for your herd:  He features a rich red bay coat with highlights all the way to white.  He was given black ear edging - You read that right - not airbrushed eartips, but a thin black line along his outer ear edges.  He also sports vintage eye whites and his whites are bright as the day he was born!  He's so pretty that I'd suggest sending him to a professional restoration artist to touch him up and polish his gloss, because he will be spectacular if you do.
