Here's something you won't find every day... A First Edition Peter Stone model, complete with all the extras!  Trouble is a Chris Hess sculpt that Breyer never produced... Peter Stone saw its potential and included him in their very first production year.  This First Edition is done in antiqued bronze.  To authenticate him as one of the original 2500-piece run, "T-1996" is carved into the model's belly, and he came with a descriptive hang tag.  A variation of this run was made over clear plastic and are said to be brighter and lighter than the regular version, which looks more like antiqued bronze.  The variation (in an unknown quantity) was made for the Peter Stone Breakfast event (later renamed to Equilocity).

We believe this is one of the PS Breakfast event variation models.  He is a warm, almost-pinkish copper with lots of luster and unpainted eyes.  We can't be certain he is made on clear plastic, though, because he is nearly fully covered in the metallic paint, even under his hooves and tail.  At the very edges of his hoof bottoms, we think we see grey, instead of white, which could indicate a clearware model.  He does not have any of the brown/ cool-toned antique shading we've seen on other Trouble models that have come through here.  Either he is one of the event models, or he's a variation that is unshaded copper rather than bronze.  He has "T-1996" factory-engraved under his belly, and was signed by Peter Stone on 11-08-1996.

This fellow is Near Mint with just pinpoint eartip rubs and a couple of pinpoint rubs / unpainted spots on his front feet.  This First Edition of Trouble comes with his original box and attached hang tag (has a corner missing).  He also comes with his original COA and even the full-size 1996 Stone Catalog.
