The Running Mare and Foal were first issued between 1961 and 1963 (exact date is unrecorded)  in four colors, all called Sugar and Spice.  One of the original colors is this lovely glossy dapple grey done in a snowflake Appaloosa pattern. Spice's body is done in soft grey with resist dapples over his hindquarters, four socks over grey feet, and an airbrushed bald face.  He was discontinued in 1973.

This colt is in Very Good condition with a chipped right ear.  Other than that, though, he's in great condition with no rubs seen.  He does have mild yellowing, but you can reverse that by sunbathing him for a few days.  I think he's worth it  He has tons of dapples, all the way down to hi socks, and he has lovely, soft inner ear and muzzle pinking with a beautiful gloss finish.  (Cover those pink areas when you sunbathe him to protect them.)  No USA mark.
