Chris Hess's iconic Running Mare has enjoyed a long, storied run in the Breyer stable. The bay was discontinued in 1987.
This lady is Excellent condition with tiny rubs on her left stifle, right rump, and eartips, along with pinpoint scratches on her right back (not all the way through the paint). She also shows mild yellowing, but you can fix that by sunbathing her for a while. She wears the USA mark, and interestingly, appears to be one of the earliest to show the very beginning of the transition to the "flat eye" we saw for a period of years: She has one tiny flat spot in her eye. That makes her a really neat part of Breyer history.
