Meet Verdades, known around the barn as "Diddy."  He and his rider Laura Graves rose to stardom as part of the US 2016 Bronze Medal team, where Laura was the highest-placing US dressage rider.  Following that feat, Verdades was inducted into the Horse Stars Hall of Fame.  They've gone on to win second in the 2017 FEI World Cup, then won the Grand Prix Special in Aachen... and they're still improving!  This incredible success comes after Laura bought the horse after seeing him as a three-month-old.  He started out high-strung and spooky, but with patience, they've come to trust each other... and with hard work they've become stars, inspiring lots of people along the way.  Laura retired Diddy in 2020 at age 18, and Laura says he still has all the friskiness and ego that made him a star.

Breyer honored Verdades with this portrait model on the Salinero mold, wearing Diddy's four socks, soft, grey muzzle, and uniquely-shaped star.  His portrait model was only available from 2018-2020.

This fellow is Near Mint with no rubs or marks.  He is marked down only because the plastic peg from Breyer's stand broke off inside his hoof and will need to be drilled out before he can stand with a base again.  He features a neatly masked star, beatufiully shaded face, and bright whites.  No base is included, but we sell steel bases here that work better than the flimsy plastic ones Breyer gave them, and should last a lifetime.
