Tennessee Walking Horse, Palomino - WCHE SR
World Champion Horse Equipment commissioned a series of Special Run Tennessee Walkers, one per year from 1996-2001. The second in the series is this beautiful palomino / flaxen chestnut model. Researcher Nancy Young was told by a representative of WCHE that this release was a portrait of famous TWH stallion Pride's Generator, showing off his hind socks and snip (although that wasn't written into their advertisement anywhere). Generator was a three-time World Champion Tennessee Walker, and went on to sire over 2000 foals!
As a 1997 model, the model wears hand-painted bi-color eyes, and his ribbons are dark brown on white. These were each stamped or marked with "WCHE" under their bellies. 6000 were made altogether: 1500 were hand-numbered, and 4500 were not numbered. This fellow is one of the un-numbered ones.
This guy is Near Mint with a tiny shiny speck and pinpoint rub on his right cheek. He features a deeply shaded muzzle, bright whites, and bi-colored eyes. He wears a white WCHE stamp under his belly.
