Star of the heartwarming movie "Dreamer," which was based on a true story, the chestnut thoroughbred Soñador (which means Dreamer in Spanish) suffers a leg fracture during a race. Her trainer and his daughter are determined to save her life, even at the cost of his job and their home. His daughter Cale (played by Dakota Fanning) develops an amazing bond with "Sonya," and the family works hard to get her healthy. When recovered, they are able to enter her into the famed Breeders' Cup race in the hope of saving their family farm and showing everyone that a life is always worth saving.
This rich chestnut mare is Near Mint with one tiny eartip rub and two tiny rubs on her right gaskin. She features soft, golden highlights and well-blended muzzle shading. She even comes with her original yellow daisies garland, which is Factory Mint and appears to have been bagged and put away when she was purchased, never even displayed.
