This sweet black Welsh stallion is Nistar Blazing Kansas LOM, or "Kansas" for short. Kansas is a two-time US Equestrian Federation Horse of the Year, three-time US Dressage Federation Welsh All-Breed Award winner, and the 2019 Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America's Welsh of the Year. This handsome boy competes in halter, pleasure driving, carriage driving and trail.
Kansas and his dam, GTF Blazing Ethel (who was a champion driving pony herself) were honored with portrait models beginning in 2022.
This pair is straight from their box. The mare has a few tiny factory rubs on her hooves, where the white shows through the hoof paint, as well as a tiny grey hairline mark on her right pastern. Her foal also has a couple of pinpoint factory hoof rubs, plus a small section of missing paint on his upraised fetlock. They feature bright, painted whites and muzzle pinking, and they even come complete with their original box.
