Western Pony, Palomino
The handsome little Western Pony was one of Breyer's earliest creations, and this palomino release was produced from 1956-1973. Many of them are more of a caramel sorrel than palomino, and all wear four airbrushed socks and an airbrushed bald face. Some wear a grey-shaded forelock like their big brothers.
This fellow is in Excellent condition with a couple of grey marks and a tiny rub on his right hindquarter, plus the usual scattering of pinpoint rubs and specks overall. There is some type of tan mark (possibly a smudge of body paint) down his right front leg and pastern. He is a lovely color - not your typical yellow palomino, but more of a tan color. Soft highlights and shading really show this color off well, and he has a bit of mane and tail shading in the same color with ties him together beautifully. He features unpainted eye whites, intact gold paint on his tack, and his original copper reins, along with a beautiful glossy finish.
