This horse's story is as beautiful as his coat.  His original owner Billie was inspired by Breyer's Stud Spider model to breed her Appaloosa to Black Magic Zippo, and her dream horse was born a year later.  Zipped in Black Magic overcame a contracted tendon as a colt to go on to show with her and her children, and earned a Register of Merit in Most Colorful at Halter.  When blindness halted his show career, Zip still had plenty of love to give.  Billie found him the perfect home at All Riders Up in Pennsylvania, a therapeutic riding program, where riders with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges not only learn to work with horses, but in this case, are inspired by Zip's own blindness challenge.  He shows them they can overcome their difficulties and make a positive difference in the world.  For his love and work, Zip received the 2017 Pennsylvania National Horse Show Foundation's Therapy Horse of the Year award and was inducted into the 2018 EQUUS Foundation Hall of Fame.

Breyer's portrait model, fittingly in the Zippo mold, shows off Zip's stunning black roan Appaloosa coat with black spots and hind socks.  It was a Store Special, only available at Breyerfest 2019.  Only 1000 were made.

This fellow is Factory Mint and so handsome.  He features a speckled roan coat with neat masking and well blended shading.

We maintain an Honest Shipping Policy:  We always try to save you money on shipping and only charge what is needed to get your box to you.  We often cut boxes down to fit your order, which can save you money... If we find we can ship for less than our website charges you for shipping, we will automatically refund the difference when we print your shipping label.  You will never overpay when ordering from us!

Due to COVID, we are currently packing and shipping USPS on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  UPS requires a day's lead time to pick up, so UPS orders ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (They don't pick up on Saturday, so UPS orders placed after cutoff on Wednesday will ship the following Monday.)
