Appropos was only the 2nd Connoisseur model made! He was offered in 2001, with only 350 numbered models made, along with approximately 1-3 Artist Proof models. Connoisseur models were a very high-end series, with exquisite detailing, and each came with a velvet drawstring pouch.
This fellow is an Artist Proof for the release, denoted by having A/P under his hoof instead of a serial number!
He is Near Mint, marked down only for a few pinpoint specks and slight age yellowing. He shows some body color in the lightning marks on his legs and some tiny, body color spots in his blanket. He features tiny, subtle body dapples and hand-painted hoof striping. He comes with his heavy-weight drawstring pouch (different from the "usual" lightweight velvet for most Connoisseur models).
