Bobcats are rarely spotted in their forest habitats of North America, but we have one here on the Triple Mountain that has been seen several times (once by me!). This mid-size cat is a great hunter, with superb hearing, eyesight and smell. They're recognizable by their pointy ears, wide tuft of fur framing their faces, and short "bobbed" tails. They often wear a spotted or smudgy coat with stripes on the face. Here in areas where winters are cold, their facial fur and large feet help keep them warm and mobile even in deep snow.
This is one of Roy's two favorite Safari molds. We have a bobcat living on the Triple Mountain, and he says she looks just like this one!
