Scarborough Downs - Genuine Downs Club Restaurant Menu

Maine's first Thoroughbred racing track, built in 1949, which changed over to Standardbred racing by 1972, has closed and is set to be demolished. Known as Maine's largest horse racing track and New England's fastest half-mile track, Scarborough Downs holds great memories for many of us.
During the final equipment auction, we were able to save a few of the fancy, laminated menus from The Downs Club dining room. They have been cleaned and have had genuine, unused menu inserts put into them (also saved before demolition). Each menu includes a genuine, restaurant-used, laminated cover with the Downs Club logo on it, menu insert showing the menu and prices on the last race day, and its gold cord and tassel.
These are wonderful keepsakes for you or someone you know who enjoyed their time at the Downs. They are suitable for framing, and are a special piece of Maine horse racing history. We have only a limited number, as we kept only those in the best condition, which are suitable as gifts or keepsakes.
Shipping these will be risky, as they could get creased or folded in transit. We prefer buyers to pick them up at our store in Hiram, Maine, during our regular hours (10-3pm Sundays only). We will ship them at your request, but it will be at your own risk. Shipping is extra - You can choose Store Pickup or a shipping method at checkout.
Images of one shown. Each has been used in the Clubhouse, so minor wear to the laminated covers and tassels should be expected.
