Legionario ~ Medieval Knight

Medieval Knight is the name of this stunning flea-bitten grey on the Legionario III mold.  The release was originally sold in 1993-94, and then in 2017 Breyer surprised collectors with a limited re-release "Warehouse Find," which included some slight changes to differentiate the two releases.  Both wear white bodies with chestnut speckles.  Manes, tails, knees and hocks are double shaded with both grey and chestnut, which gives this model incredible depth.  The original release still wore Legionario's hip brand, unpainted, but the re-release had that removed.

This fellow is the original release.  He is Near Mint with only some tiny hoof edge rubs and mild age yellowing, which you can correct by sunbathing him for a few days.  He features more speckling than usual, a cool-tone tan mane and tail rather than the dark red color we usually see, very soft leg shading, and soft grey shading over nearly all of his face!
